QUIZ CHALLENGE
----------------
This program is, even though i say it,quite an enjoyable game.As the title
suggest`s it is a quiz game for one or two players.
The game is controlled by joystick, player one is in the mouse port.
Anyway you start by choosing a category by hitting one to nine, the computer
then selects a random ten questions from your chosen subject.
The question is then asked along with four choices of answer. The clock now
starts and any points you have are gradually wittled away until you answer.
If by chance you get it right the computer will give you a 1000 points.
Each player has it in turns to answer but player two always has the advantage
as he has longer to get the answer,or as long as it takes player one to
answer. So it would be best to alternately go first.I hope to sort this out
soon, but it`s quite playable in the meantime.
There are at the moment only 50 questions per subject so questions will be
repeated. I have more questions available if you let me know, but then you
still have the option to input your own at the beginning. But once you begin
you will have to do the full 50 otherwise you will lose the whole category.
And needless to say any questions you input will automatically wipe mine.
I`d like to take this opportunity to thank people who have helped me with
this program.Firstly,Maggie my wife for endless cups of tea and blank looks
when i explain the advantages of a sequential file over a random one.
Secondly to my three girls,AMY JO,SARAH JAYNE and KAYLEIGH ROSE for constant
pestering which dragged me away from the computer which inadvertantly solved
a particular problem,Thirdly to my mates Tony,Steve,Drako,Phil and Harry for
playing this game and extolling it`s virtues and faults!,and to Paul Widdop
for writing the TV and Geography questions. Finally,to Dougie Fisher for
buying Easy Amos originally and being a mate when i needed one.
Remember...this is my first game i`ve written so give it a chance.
thanks G.M.Benham
